About the Role

This role is works closely with the Engineering Leads to ensure cloud-based applications / services are delivered successfully. The role also acts as a central point of client contact for technical communications and escalations and develops mitigation strategies to support clients and resolve issues.

- Administration and Implementation of Cloud servers and service
- Administration of Windows Server systems and proactive monitoring, maintenance and support of
windows servers and services
- Administration of IIS Web Server environment
- Administration of Office 365 services

Key Capabilities

  • A good understanding of Modern Cloud Architecture including AWS, Azure, GCP

  • Experience deploying cost-effective, innovative technology frameworks and cloud services that support best practice.

  • A good understanding of AWS/AZURE Cloud security concepts -Security Groups, network security, encryption, auditing, monitoring and logging

  • A solid understanding of Office 365 including Teams, Sharepoint Online and Exchange

  • Understanding and capturing of detailed documentation for all deployments/implementations.

  • Effective Stakeholder and relationship management skills

  • Excellent communication skills demonstrating a professional approach

  • Knowledge and experience with complexities of migration and transformation and ability to deliver successfully.


Experience required

  • Relevant degree/qualification

  • 3+ year of experience with AWS and/or Azure / GCP cloud administration

  • 3+ years of experience Windows Server System Administration (Windows Server 2012 / 20

  • Understanding of SaaS products such as Application Firewalls, API Gateways

  • Understanding of container technology/tools such as Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift

  • Experience in using CI/CD products such as Azure DevOps, Github Actions, Bitbucket pipeline

  • Experience in using IaaC products such as Terraform, Azure ARM templates, AWS Cloudformation

  • Knolwedge and understanding of TLS/SSL data encryption and authentication protocols

  • Familiar with migration suites such as BitTitan (optional)
