THE CHALLENGE

To minimise the time their customers spent waiting for claims to be paid by creating a system that would allow vets to submit a claim directly to the insurer. The insurer could then process the payment directly into the policy holder’s account.

 

THE SOLUTION

Our team designed a bespoke architecture that was simple but would be robust enough to handle lots of claims at once. The system included in-built redundancies, in the event that one server was overworked, the other could step in to ensure seamless service. The system was coded in Clojure. 

 

THE OUTCOME

The proof-of-concept was built in just two weeks and the new program was rolled out within vets within a month providing PetSure with an instant competitive advantage.
