THE CHALLENGE

Youth Law Australia provides free legal assistance to vulnerable young people across Australia, helping those facing issues such as housing instability, employment disputes, family challenges and interactions with the justice system.

Demand for services continued to grow, but the organisation operated with a small team of just five specialist lawyers. Traditional channels such as phone and email were limiting accessibility for some young people, creating delays in responding to enquiries and increasing the risk that requests for assistance would go unanswered.

YLA needed a way to expand access to legal support without compromising service quality or significantly increasing operating costs.

WHAT ARGENTI DID

Argenti partnered with Youth Law Australia to design and deliver a secure, scalable digital engagement platform that made it easier for young people to access legal support when they needed it most.

Working closely with YLA, Argenti implemented a real-time webchat service designed around the needs of vulnerable users. The solution provided a discreet and accessible channel for seeking assistance while integrating directly with existing case management systems.

The platform reduced manual administrative effort, improved case handling workflows and enabled the organisation to support significantly higher demand without placing additional pressure on frontline legal staff.

Argenti also assisted Youth Law Australia in securing additional funding to support the long-term sustainability and continued growth of the service.
